Solet
DSP-controlled concert-level line array with adjustable vertical dispersion (beamforming).
The new Solet is a self-powered, modular line array speaker with adjustable dispersion characteristics. Up to 18 modules can be flown in a single column for concert-level reproduction at distances up to 100 metres with broadband beamforming capability.
Each individual transducer receives a dedicated amplifier and DSP channel from the integrated on-board electronics.
Vertical sound dispersion can be configured into up to six independent beams with a dispersion of ±30°. Obstacles can be avoided because the acoustic centre of each beam can be allocated to any chosen speaker chassis. The beams can be focused to beam angles of between 0° - 30° for one module, and beams can be combined for precise control of SPL over distance, or where apertures of greater than 30 degrees are required.
Solet delivers new levels of fidelity, output and intelligibility, even in the most challenging acoustical environments.
